Book Deals: Robin Stevenson's KID INNOVATORS Acquired by Quirk Books
Working with Robin Stevenson has been such a joy. Not only is she a wildly prolific author, she’s just a magnificent person (please go follow her on social media to see how much time she spends giving back and helping people). Her books have continued to earn plenty of well-deserved praise, and I adore the projects we’ve worked on together.
Like Kid Activists, which comes out this September with Quirk Books, and When You Get the Chance, which publishes next year with Running Press, co-authored with Tom Ryan.
And now, we’re onto book three.
I’m so pleased to say that Robin Stevenson’s next non-fiction Middle Grade book, KID INNOVATORS, has been scooped up by my hometown publisher, Quirk Books! Like Kid Activists, this book will showcase the childhood lives of major figures. In this case, folks in the arts, science, tech, and more.
Here’s the blip from Publisher’s Marketplace:
Stonewall-honoree and author of the forthcoming KID ACTIVISTS Robin Stevenson's KID INNOVATORS, the latest book in Quirk's illustrated Kid Legends series, which focuses on childhood stories of a diverse group of trailblazers in tech, arts, business, and science, including Alan Turing, Walt Disney, Grace Hopper, Madam C.J. Walker, and more, to Alex Arnold at Quirk Books, for publication in Spring 2021, by Eric Smith at P.S. Literary (World).
So excited to see yet another Robin Stevenson book in the world. Congrats, Robin! Here’s to many more!
